How is implantation performed? Classic two-step protocol

We use proven and secure protocols. The most common - classic two-stage implantation - takes place in several stages:

• 1. Diagnosis and planning: consultation with an implant surgeon and orthopedic surgeon with computed tomography (CBCT) to 3D assess bone volume and quality, creating a digital treatment plan, sometimes using surgical guides for accuracy.
• 2. Surgical stage: under local anesthesia (painless), the implant is installed into the bone. If it is necessary to simultaneously replenish the bone volume, bone grafting (sinus lift) is performed. Next is suturing. The procedure takes 30-60 minutes per implant.
• 3. Period of osseointegration (engraftment): the implant fuses with the bone (on the lower jaw 2-4 months, on the upper jaw - 4-6 months). During this period, a temporary aesthetic prosthesis can be installed.
• 4. Installation of a gum former: a small mini-surgery to create an ideal gum contour around the future crown.
• 5. Orthopedic stage: taking impressions and making a permanent crown (zirconium, metal-ceramic or zirconium dioxide-based). Fixing the finished crown onto the implant.
