REGIME: after cataract removal with implantation of an artificial lens, adherence to bed or semi-bed rest is not necessary. You should not sleep on the operated side or on your stomach for the first few days after surgery. Avoid heavy physical activity and work associated with prolonged tilting of the head down, lifting and carrying heavy objects, vibration.
HYGIENE: When washing, avoid getting soap and water into the eye. When washing your hair, tilt your head back, not forward. If water gets into the operated eye, additional anti-inflammatory drops should be instilled.
EYE DROPS: necessary for faster healing and prevention of infectious complications. As a rule, after the operation, the surgeon prescribes the instillation of several drugs: disinfectant drops: “Vigamox”, anti-inflammatory drops “Nevanak”, “Dexamethasone”, “Flucon”, etc.
