Teleendoscopy of ENT organs

Teleendoscopy of ENT organs is a visual examination using an endoscope of the nasal cavity, nasopharynx, larynx, and auditory canal. An endoscope is a thin tube with a miniature camera and a light at the end. The resulting image can be displayed on a computer screen for visualization by the patient.

The study is usually carried out without anesthesia (the latter according to indications). The patient may experience mild discomfort due to the sensation of a foreign object.

Indicated for any pathology of the ENT organs for a more accurate diagnosis.

Contraindications:

• - injuries to the facial part of the skull or paranasal sinuses
• - disorders of the blood coagulation system with a tendency to nosebleeds
• - nervous or mental disorders with increased excitability
